This album is a collection of my favorite original Weissenborn instrumentals. It's all my favorites collected in one place for your listening pleasure! A Weissenborn is an acoustic lap style slide guitar first invented around 1915. Instruments played on the album include an original 1927 Weissenborn, a baritone Weissenborn made by Richard Wilson of Australia, a very fancy style 4 Weissenborn by Richard Wilson, a style 4 Weissenborn made by Tony Francis of New Zealand, also, just for good measure, a 1942 Oahu squareneck and a Beard dobro. Chirag Gokani plays bass guitar on the last two songs.
